I know that might sound odd...the rewards of fear. However, the rewards of fear are huge. It's easy to do the easy things in life and your satisfaction is directly proportionate to the level of fear you feel. The level of accomplishment that you feel, when you tackle the impossible, succeed against the odds, that's the emotional high, the reward of fear.
It's when you do the really scary things, you know the ones that take your breath away, the ones where the stakes are high and then you discover the rewards are beyond what you dreamed they would be.
The feeling of your heart beating inside of your chest, the butterflies inside of you jumping for joy, celebrating your leap of faith in yourself and the sense of pride and accomplishment bubbling up inside of you, knowing you did it.
